There was a certain gap in the market for luxury rentals at value prices in Dallas before Marcus Hiles real estate developer entered the market. Almost three decades ago, Texas was experiencing a spike in housing sales, leaving keen homebuyers with a few options to choose from. Additionally, the existing options were selling at excessively high prices. Hiles saw this scenario as an opportunity to meet an unmet demand, and the outcome was the founding of Western Rim Property Services in 1990. He began building homes that were needed to improve the Dallas rental market, but his exclusive idea of offering luxury apartments, homes and townhomes to working class people in Texas transformed the Dallas dynamics for the better single-handedly.
